Post Apocalypse 2012

Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence. Since the beginning of time there have been literally hundreds of thousands of predictions for the end of the world and we're still here.
(Carl Sagan)

To all the pseudoscientists out there: WE TOLD YOU SO! Please stop scaring children in the future.

The Milky Way. Not as crowded as it looks.

To everyone, including those folks who are currently "surviving" in a cave or bunker, have a Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays and a Happy New Year.

  4. Let's hope there are no more ancient end-of-the-world predictions to be uncovered for the foreseeable future. This secretly saving all mankind bit is exhausting & the pay sucks!

    Oop! Wasn't supposed to mention anything. Let's just pretend I didn't, 'k?

All the best to you & yours, AC!

  7. Life's extraordinariness is ordinary and its ordinariness extraordinary - 'all' we have to do is grow accustomed to the idea? I do wonder about our collective need to catastrophize (sp?). Sigh. Seems we are slow learners!

Hope you had a wonderful Christmas, Ant., and that 2013 offers up the best kind of surprises for you for and all of us.
