There's something about Alan

Just in case your "social" network has not exposed you to the BBC's viral anthropomorphism of our fellow co-inhabitants:

Need more? Yes. It's Myaaawnday after all:

Ever since I have watched these I have had a really hard time keeping a straight face around anyone named "Alan".

  1. I have a creepy cousin named Alan. When he was a kid he used to torture animals. Hence, karma.

  2. I watched this on the bus and it really alarmed the denizens who were sitting around me. I guess they fear Alan now too.

"please don't let me meet anyone named Alan.."

p.s. you have the keys to my place while I'm gone. Feed cat, water plants. Keep away from my wine.

  13. You know this wouldn't have worked without the British accents...and British sense of humor. Would love to have watched the denizens around Laoch, viewing it on the bus. Happiness.

  14. Is it just me or is comedy tipped upward a notch when when its delivered with a British accent?

We shared the same visual image of Laoch on the bus. (Sounds like a children's show).

  18. Robert, even when lewd and bawdy it sounds more intelligent :)
In this case, I think it helped that the voice-overs were done by comedians.

  19. Donna B.-I was beginning to wonder whether the 5 million hits were all from the UK. I love this stuff too.

All is well that ends well, the satellite image showed just how big this thing was.
